Film Bees is a Vilnius-based independent production company, founded in 2021 by creative producer Juliana Miliut. Juliana began her career in 2014 as an assistant producer working with one of Lithuania’s leading film producers Zilvinas Naujokas and founder of ACME Film – a leading independent film distributor in the Baltic states.

The company started by providing hands-on production support, assisting filmmakers at every stage of the process – from development and pre-production to filming and post-production – handling a wide range of practical support tasks across the production process.

Over the years, Film Bees has evolved, and today its core activity is grant writing, funding applications, and creative consulting, supporting filmmakers in navigating both the artistic and financial aspects of their projects. The company works with both national and European funding bodies, assisting local and international production companies to access financing opportunities across Europe.

In addition, Film Bees provides professional virtual assistant support for film industry projects as well as other creative and business ventures, offering flexible practical assistance tailored to each client’s needs.

The company’s most recent activities focus on education and community development, organizing workshops and training programs that empower emerging and established professionals across the creative sector to grow their skills and bring meaningful stories and projects to audiences worldwide. Film Bees is an officially accredited provider of non-formal education programs at the national level (NSH).

Our mission is to support and empower creative projects across the arts and media sectors, combining practical production expertise, funding guidance, and educational initiatives to help creators bring meaningful stories, ideas, and experiences to audiences worldwide.
